Do you ever feel people compare the things you have done to the person you are in the present time?

This piece grew and changed through the time period I was creating it, very similar to how you adapt and transform through life. When I create pieces it is very hard sometimes to stop and realise that my task is accomplished, I want to strive for more. This reminds me of how I am with myself, never stopping to reshape and reform in different ways.

These two images are identical apart from the one clear change which is colour. I photographed and enhanced the saturation in the first image to exaggerate the true colours, I then inverted the image to create the second piece. By inverting the image it showed a strong change between them with one simple click. This shows that by changing yourself slightly you are still undergoing a transformation. Small changes are still steps.

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.
